I have the Satos in silver and everyone comments on them. The adjustability is plenty, and the 1-bolt switch from gp-shift to regular is nice.

If your bike has ABS the light switch is handled by the ABS pump so any rearset would be fine.

Using your bike on the street or planning on taking it to the track?

 

Attack rearsets all the way, foot pegs are grippy as all hell and just all around a very good and well built piece of equipment. The switch to GP shifting was a snap as well. Like tj said, it also depends on what your intentions are for the bike also.

 

Something to consider for track use is that the fixed footpegs can have a tendency to dig in and flip the bike during a slide.

But... They can also proved some crash protection for my Arrow pipe.

they are both nice.. i like the attacks because of the serations on the pegs. if sato offered them it would be a toss up. ive been doing track days for years using different brand rearsets. ive found the ones that hold my boots the best are vortex or attacks. ive had yosh,sato,pp tuning,gilles,vortex and attack...

 

i mainly will ride street, I hope to start getting into Track days ...ive just barely begun researching what it takes to get on track tho.. thanks for the input!

 

I have Sato's on both of my bikes. The knurling on the pegs well in my opinion can't get get any better. After 35k on the GIXER they are still as grippy as the day I got them If you want to move your feet you will need to lift them. I have ordered replacement parts for them, that is painless as well.

 

I have Sato on both of my bikes too. My GF has Attacks on her Gixxer and when I ride that bike my foot seems to slip a little. It could just be that I love my Satos but.... Anyway I won't buy anything else. And as mentioned replacement parts are easy to het hold of.

I bought some Rearsets from Bohemianracing.com - they are indistinguishable from Sato aside from the name on the side. And cost less than $200 delivered. Just as good.

 

May be a stupid question, but their website says price per unit is $195, number pieces in packaging = 1, and pieces per box = 1. Not sure if that's actually a "set of two", or does one need to order two?

I have to Sato on for the list 5k miles and love then. First track at Road America this Monday 07/16. So will see?

 

Don't know if I could trust some Chinese Sato knockoffs. Who knows what is in that alloy. Last thing you need is a rearset shearing off.

Had Sato's on my 2011 and loved them! Putting AP's on my 2012 this weekend. Satos were awesome and super smooth. Also looked amazing and like they were sculpted. AP's are equally well made and look industrial by comparison.

I had trouble gettin replacement parts for my Sato's and that's what steered me to AP's this time.

 

I contacted AP last week after ordering on jun 25. they told me two to three more weeks. I found some Sato's and bought them instead.

 

I think AP are busy setting up a bike for MotoGP (or so my AP dealer told me). I had to wait quite a while to get mine but it was worth the wait.

Did you guys fit them yourself ?. How long did it take. If its just a quick install will get them fitted when I put the new bike in for the replacement of the defective Conti front tyre.

I lost a bolt because I forgot to loctite it (duh!).

I damaged a foot peg and broke a bolt from a trackday lowside.

order and received new parts in 2 days from Sato (located in monterey/seaside, CA)

 

Can anyone comment on the adjustability of the two? I need to lower my pegs as much as I can and from what sato says on their website, the lowest drop will be about .5 inches. Anyone know the lowering amount for pegs for attack?
