Hello everyone, proud new owner as of two weeks ago of a 2011 Thunder Grey S1KRR. I have found this forum very helpful but still have a couple questions that I have not found yet.
Although I have had my M license for ten years, this is my first time owning a Supersport bike. I had ridden them before R6, Triumph 1000cc, but I know that the S1KRR is a totally different type of bike.
I know that if I want to feel a good chunk of its power, I will need to twist that throttle. I am a little nervous seeing posts about the front wheel coming off the ground. If the bike does start to wheelie, do you guys have any tips for controlling it back to the ground? I used to do this on a different bike but had a little accident and haven't wanted to try since.
Also, just because we can, what tips can you give for taking off the drivers seat? I do want to eventually install the slick mode chip just because I can. I have heard that can take two people to help take off the drivers seat.
