Service light issue

So recently i purchased a Brentune for my 2012 s1000rr, the nice thing is the bike is even more nasty. Also the device they send you to flash the ECU can reset service lights, no more trips to the dealer! Or so I thought.... ever since i did a service reset with the device i now have this every key cycle. Anyone have any input on how to get rid of it? Can i set a date so it wont show or is this a dealer only thing?

I asked brentune guys on FB page. One replied and hasnt encountered this issue in awhile. He says he fixed his back in the day, but will have to look in on it again to refresh his memory. While i dont mind waiting for a "fix" im here to see if anyone else has encountered this with a brentune/gs911 and how you got rid of it?

If it matters, i do NOT have a service light under the coolant temp reading. That part is gone, but this is on every key cycle for about 5 seconds. Then actually shows temp/speed/etc.

I am assuming that you hooked up a laptop to the GS911 or connected to the device over WiFi? What is the date set to on the PC that you used?

Date on PC i have no idea. I connected the brentune device to the computer to load the new tune via email from brentuning. The device has a plug that connects to the diag port on the bike and rewrites the ecu.

Your Bikes current Date is way off for sure and needs to be corected. So as VAN stated it can be that you used a computer that had its date way out or the date on your bike cluster/ECU got reset. This happened to me on my 2016 when I removed my cluster to clean out dust that was in the lens housing.

So it sounds like i should reset the date on the computer if off, plug in the brentune device and basically "update" it somehow. And reset the service again to see if it fixes it?
