Hi, Wondering if you've had success with this or why you decided not to use it. I have a 2013. Thanks.

Just an update for you guys. I ordered a ProShift unit for my Aprilia and was told I had to measure the voltages of the specific bike at various throttle positions. Previously they had done this on a bike of the same model but not on my bike (I'm in Australia and they are in UK). So I had to get my dealer to do this, for which they charged me.

Then I received an email, completely separately, which I assume they sent to all of their customers, stating that if you changed anything to do with how the throttle worked e.g added a quick action throttle, you would have to uninstall the unit send the unit back to ProShift for recalibration. Incidentally I added an Alpha QA throttle to the HP4 and didn't do this and the unit continued to work (but they hadn't issued the note at that stage). I can only assume they've had some problems, and given the nature of the product it's probably important enough to share. So be aware if you live a long way from the UK where ProShift are based.

That's correct - I bought this unit from another forum member and also need to send it out to ProShift to set the voltage right even it works pretty good. Not sure if even each bike has a slight variation in the TPS voltages from 0 to 100% throttle...but it's good info if you install a quick throttle for instance that you need to calibrate this unit again. So I guess I get my quick throttle from alpha asap first and then sent it across the planet to the UK.

Thanks for sharing this here :smile2:

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm probably going to go for it, partially based on the fact that you've had good success with it, and considering the fact that I'm continuously banging on my gearbox with ineffectual downshifts and false neutrals. Given that it installs and functions, if you hear from me in the dead of winter that it works, and more so in the Spring, the thing probably works!
