Angle of attack (AoA) is critical. You could create lift if you drilled your fairings in the wrong place. Then there is the fragility of the panel mounts/holes which you intend to stick a 16kg weight on (the claimed df figure).

If you can resolve those issues then go for it

Reinforce the fairing is not any problem. Though the angle of the winglet would be a challenge but doable. A fan, tape and roll of toilet paper
