Glad to hear it's working for you. The Brisbane dealer has sold 20x of the 2020 model they said. Mine is the first 2021 and it has the issue. It's not the same bike although at first glance "they look the same" - from the BMW dealer.
The K67 production so far has been getting periodic updates in software and occasionally in parts suppliers, but there haven't been changes specific to model year other than color options. In a few months new K67s are reportedly going to have Nissin rather than Hayes calipers, but again this isn't related to the model year. @BMW_388 can give far richer information about model designations, etc. Some countries also have differences (e.g., light systems, ECU tunes) and I don't know if Australia has changed the formula it gets from Munich for 2021, though it seems unlikely.

What does your dealer say is different specifically?

As stated, we tried to pair with other phones with no joy. We then tested other bikes at the shop and they connected with my phone. It appears to be unique. Not a case of not knowing how to pair a phone to a bike.

If anyone has a 2021 model with the issue I'd like to hear from you. If and when BMW fix this I'll update here I'll share a the fix. BMW Brisbane have no idea but it isn't their fault they didn't build the bike.
need more data on your bike. Just because the dealer indicates it up to date does not really mean it is up to date. The reason is the ISTA that some dealers have installed is not really the latest version from BMWAG.

Go to the TFT and get to the settings menu > Information > Version

The latest version of the TFT software as of Dec 15th 2020 is 022_005_041

No matter it is iPhone or Android, it is supposed to BlueTooth work.

I've been assuming that it isn't in RACE PRO and has been successfully connected to another device/phone, per my recommendation. Though the summer software update that enables Bluetooth in RACE PRO should be on any 2021, I assume? Would there be country-specific differences here?

The first testing I did back when we had this discussion was on Euro setup cluster. It was USA wiring, but, the coding in the ECU and Cluster was tested before I used it in what is now Mule 2. Mule 2 is in all practical setup as Euro built bike in the USA.

so, I will try to test this current cluster setup on pairing with my SamSung tablet. I dont have a recent samsung phone any longer.

Thanks, Tom. I thought this could be the issue. I've tried in Race, Rain, and Road. We tried several devices. No devices get detected when Bluetooth is searching. Thanks for the suggestion.

It looks like the entire Bluetooth is bad. I imagine that it's just a part of the Kombi computer and the entire TFT system needs to be replaced.

The software can have an issue upon loading, and still be sucessful enough to look like it is a functioning TFT unit. Could just be bad production of the TFT in that the Bluetooth chips are not working.

The dealer cannot force reload a module like I can, so they will only have the option of getting a new unit from BMWAG under warranty replacement.

If you haven't accepted delivery and rode the bike out, I would seek a new bike instead of waiting on a major part that likely needs to come from Germany. Though this is made more difficult by the current caliper-related stop sale.

If I had to guess, I would place a bet on the Bluetooth antennae being disconnected internally. But I doubt it has an serviceable parts except by a deep hacker, and this is obviously not what you do with a brand-new bike.

So sorry if this is the wrong thread. Just picked up my S1000RR M Sport 2021 model. Whilst being shown the features of the bike before riding away, the sales people tried to demo the Bluetooth. It wouldn't work with my phone (Samsung S20 Ultra) or the sales guy (iPhone) or even their tech guy (iPhone). We tried with other BMW bikes in the showroom and connection was flawless. My helmet connects but not the phone. Has anyone got an M Sport 2021 and found a fix to this issue? Even a hack or really anything to be able to connect to the bike as I'd really love to know. BMW (Brisbane, Australia) tried so hard to connect and they worked for hours. Even tried a software update despite being already up to date. My bike is the first 2021 model sold in Brisbane so the BMW team couldn't help as it's the first issue they've seen. Much appreciated if anyone knows a workaround.
You never indicated what version of software shows on your TFT unit.

I just tested my latest updated TFT on the Bluetooth. the Android unit will not connect. The iPhone will connect. I dont have any other Android devices to test on connection, but the Galaxy tab 4 sees the TFT. The name of it is ICC6.5in , but in the TFT it never displays the Tab 4 and cannot connect.

The ICC6.5in see my iPhone no problem and connects.
