I purchased and had professionally installed by a certified BMW Master technician at a certified BMW service center a
dbk special parts 3d-evo clutch kit in my 2022 S1000RR and the dbk special parts part literally sheered apart and grenaded my motor siezing it with less then 10,000 miles on it. The parts were installed at a certified BMW service center by a qualified BMW Master technician. The service center examined the
motor after the catastrophic
failure of the dbk special parts clutch kit and determined that the dbk special parts part was the cause of the catastrophic failure and subsequent destruction of the motor. Then through some
research the service center
found out that dbk special parts had issued a
recall on that very part issued roughly 2 months prior that neither the service center nor I ever received any notice of.
Now my practically brand new motorcycle needs a completely new engine do to the catastrophic failure and destruction of the dbk special parts and subsequent damage done to the original motor as a result of the dbk special parts clutch kit catastrophically failing. Now upon contacting dbk special parts to have them stand by their products and replace my motor that was destroyed by their parts that were professionally
installed in my motorcycle by a BMW Master technician at a certified BMW service center they are telling the service center that the recall window that was aparintly only issued 2 months ago (that neither I nor the
service center ever received any notification of) is closed and they are not responsible for the destruction of my motor do to the dbk special parts clutch kit that the knew was defective and issued a recall for catastrophically failing and destroying my motor and they are not willing to stand by their product and replace my motor thst was literally
destroyed as a result of their
parts literally sheering apart
inside my motor.
I highly recommend that
nobody purchase or install ANY parts made by this company as they are clearly not of high quality dispite the exorbitant price they charge the customers for what they "claim" to be "hand made ltalian
craftsmanship" and quality yet they are not willing to stand behind and guarantee even when THEY LITERALLY KNEW THE PART WAS DEFECTIVE AND ISSUED A RECALL FOR IT and especially not installing any of their products knowing that they are of poor quality and poor craftsmanship and that dbk special parts does not care about their customers.

failed and completely sheered off and will be letting every rider
I know to stay away from this DISHONEST AND DISREPUTABLE company as well as any associated
parts and equipment
manufactured by them along with seeking legal counsel.

EDIT: Upon initial post of my review dbk special parts contacted the service center and said do to me posting the negative reviews that they were incentvised not to help me. In other words even though the review I posted was POSTED AFTER DBK SPECIAL PARTS REFUSED TO STAND BEHIND A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT THAT THEY KNEW WAS DEFECTIVE AND ISSUED A RECALL FOR THEY TRIED CLAIMING THAT THE REASON THE REFUSED TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT WAS THE NEGATIVE REVIEW I POSTED. AGAIN I POSTED THE REVIEW AFTER THEY WERE CONTACTED BY THE SERVICE CENTER AND WERE GIVEN EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO STAND BEHIND THEIR KNOWN DEFECTIVE PRODUCT YET REFUSED TO.
I have copies of ALL the correspondence for anyone interested. Then they implied to the service center that if I removed the review they "might" be more inclined to help the customer which I then promptly did remove. After which the service center received notification from dbk special parts that do to the customers negative review (1 single review that was up for 1 and a half to maybe 2 days tops) that the company had already incurred more losses do to the negative review then the cost of the motor that their part catastrophically failing destroyed (15,000 plus tax) and that they would not be able to do anything for the customer aka me. After which dbk special parts simply stopped responding to any correspondence from the service center literally ignoring any and all attempts to reach so sort of reasonable resolution.
Again I have copies of ALL of the correspondence between dbk special parts and the service center. After my review was taken down dbk special parts has now removed the review section making it impossible to repost the review that was taken down in good faith by me in an attempt to be reasonable and give a company every opportunity to do the right thing.
DBK IS JUST ABOUT THE MOST DISHONEST, UNTRUSTWORTHY AND SHADY COMPANY I'VE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON AND I CANNOT STRESS STRONGLY ENOUGH TO ANY AND ALL RIDERS TO AVOID DBK SPECIAL PARTS COMPANY AND ANY AND ALL PRODUCTS SOLD, PRODUCED OR MANUFACTURED BY THEM.
BUYERS BEWARE.
The service center and I are currently in the process of working something out and come to some sort of arrangement to replace my motor as I the customer who did nothing wrong ( other then expect dbk special parts to be an honest and reputable company and stand behind their self proclaimed defective product) and should not have had to incur the cost of repairing my motorcycle but at the same time I also believe the service center also did not do anything wrong and should not be forced to incur all the cost to replace a motor that was destroyed be of another companies defective product.
So at least the service center is being honorable and because of that have earned a customer for life.
