I was hesitant with clear ones because i was wary of yellow tinge they get after a while. Just be mindful of this when you pick one

 

None of clear pads I tested looked good. I either go with black or hydro turf foam that comes in colors.

 

I've used clear stompgrip on the last 2 bikes i've had. Remained clear for some time, eventually got a little yellow/dark but many miles into having them on. Not a motorsport but you get the idea.

I've had clear stompgrips on my 16 since new, no discolouring but then I dont leave it in the sun. just a bit of black on the edges from my leathers. I havent had to take them off so cant comment on how difficult that may be.

Have clear Stompgrips on mine as well, just the tank pads. Previous owner put them on but they still look ok.

 

Stompgrip is very easy to remove when the time comes, you just need a bit of heat . No yellowing in 4 years for me, but it's on a black bike so may not be so noticeable.

 

I bought a roll of 3m vinyl. Cut it to shape, applied it with soap and water and clear as can be after 1 year of use.
