I have had 3 suits so far

Cortec Latigo- very basic entry level, heavy suit (never crashed in)

A* Orbiter- much better than the Latigo BUT the suit was designed very tight behind the knees and calf area and a few other riders of different body sizes all said the same thing test fitting my suit. Crashed in that one and it lacks the shoulder protection I will say.

Last is the Arlen Ness M4 suit- Awesome suit! Made a video review to which you can see how well it held up in a lowside after I lost the front.

Got a Dainese Laguna Seca Pro Estiva. Awesome suit and has the Red/white/blue in a 54 and it is too snug. Just ordered a replacement Laguna Seca Evo in a 56. I like the Pro Estiva a little better and it has the D-skin, but the Evo fits me better. The Pro needs to be sent back to Germany or sold.

Currently wearing a black/white A* carver. I had it modified because I'm a weird shape. Crashed on each side. Worst damage was a nickel sized hole in the forearm on top of the armor. Fits decent now that it's broken in but I'm considering a custom Heroic suit. I don't think I can find off the rack suits that fit both my upper and lower body.

Do it!!!!!! I have a Pilot suite (which is great) but the next suit is going to be a custom Heroic as well.

To put it in perspective - I'm 5'10" 185 - with my Back and chest protector and armoured shorts, I had to get a 46 with 8cm added to the chest, 3cm added to the thighs and the arms and legs shortened by 5cm - It fits PERFECTLY and doesn't constrain my movement in any way when I'm moving around on the bike. Once you do it - you'll never try to find off the rack again. Believe me, I would LOVE to find a suit that fits off the rack, but I've tried every brand and it's either too tight, too loose, too long in one or multiple parts of the suit. With a custom suit, there's zero compromise!!!!

So after speaking with Todd at Heroic, I ordered one today. Just waiting to discuss the design and measurements. Knowing that I can customize it with whatever I want basically sealed the deal. Now if only I had more sponsors to throw on it...

I have the current Dainese Laguna Seca, but I still drool over the Trickster. At the end of the day, for those shopping for leathers, the "best" leather suit is one that fits you properly! Different manufacturers have different cuts, which may fit certain body types better than others.

Nice pic freefly, I remember you from the ducati forum days ha ha! I was midnite 1098s. I'm contemplating on investing in the trickster. I have the previous style race replica A Stars. Love the feel of it but never have tried on a Dainese. Never heard anything bad about 'em but I know the jackets I've tried on were a pretty good feel.

RS Taichi GMX Motion leather jacket with RS Taichi Boots out leather pants. Perforated so it can be used in cooler and warmer days. Goes with Dainese Torque Out Pro vented boots. For summer I use 2 peice STars textile jacket with A10 textile boots out pants. For commuting I use a BILT set up with waterproof BILT boots. Shopping for a 1 piece and looks like the Dainese Laguna Seca seems to be leading the pack. I need to try some on but other choice are AStars GP Pros. I have several gloves, Knox gauntlet and A Star quarter cut usually finishes off the set up. Not too many selection of blue color suits though...

Teknic Chicane 1 pc.... Before I only had wore Alpinestars suits and I love them, but I picked up this set on a close out sale. Got them for $400 and I really like them. Good protection, very comfortable, fits great and no issues wearing it with my Alpinestars race suit or my Alpinestars Bionic SP chest and back protection vest, good thickness, just an all around great suit. Too bad Teknic is done....
