Here is my experience...

NYC BMW Dealer did yearly on my '17 S1000RR with 1100 miles.

When I got home with $500 less in my wallet....

I found this workmanship.....

Oil level after riding over 40 mins, on Pitbull stand and checked within 30 seconds after engine shut off.

Well... pull up to garage, open the gate, pull bike in, put on the stand then look at oil level.. is that 30 seconds a min ?
Thats the image that is attached

Where would you suspect a leak? Nothing under a bike.

It won't drain back in 30 seconds. It needs a few minutes. Providing you don't have a leak.

Mine will show at least 80% of actual level within 30 seconds. I'd also like to know what this bike shows after a few minutes. If nothing...wow.

level is same after 5 mins and now 2 days (just checked)

AHH not sure if its clear enough on the pic...bike is overfilled

its completely submerged, you really have to tilt it to the side to see level go down.

What's the level look like after 5 minutes or so?

Dont know why it cost you $500? What work did they do? You want to check oil level on a flat level surface as lifting it up with stand is going to throw it off some.
A far as the belly pan, thats just not acceptable .

If you can see the level by tilting the bike, your overfill is not that serious. It's happened to me before. You could siphon some out. As for the mess, yeah...that's not acceptable.

As for the cost...my 12,000 mile service cost me $350. I had an annual done prior to that for $235. FYI...

Thats BMW Quality service .. NOT

I already feel like ****.... you guys are not helping :)

My reasoning was .. bike was sitting for a while so take it to a BMW for service that I cant do myself
such as bleed brakes, plus always good for documentation purpose.

At the end of the day I can live with the price .... I cant and I want stand for gross incompetence.
