Can anyone confirm if the sensor is a separate unit on the 2014 HP4? Mine does not have the sensor to right of fuel tank under seat and can't see it hanging anywhere. Bike had stalled a few times whilst decelerating and wondered if this might be the cause. Your help please.
I think it's under the seat where the battery is. It's part of a different sensor. Maybe you're having the mysterious stall some people speak of. There is a long thread and poll on it.
Take it back to the dealer, my wife's 2014 R (April 2014 production) had exactly the same issue and it was cured with a software update. I'd start there and make sure it has the latest and greatest version. Next would be to try non-ethanol fuel and see if that helps. Don't think it's the drop sensor, because you'd get a message on the dash if it activates.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
