Planning to buy this used bike (S1000RR 2015) but I wonder about this small tube that is unnatached to the engine? Do you recognize what kind of tube this is and if it is good idea to leave it outside engine like in photo?
That tube is probably disconnected from the charcoal evap canister. If that is the case (hard to tell from one picture) then it's not really a problem. If you buy it I would definitely make sure that the canister delete was done correctly though.
It is the canister tube. Usually there are 2, but you can remove one pretty easy completely and the other goes up to the fuel tank. No big deal. I remove both usually and it cleans up that area well.
