I was riding with my buddies over the Labor Day weekend. Al suggested that my Gen XR would perform much better if I got ride of the OEM large top box and saddlebags. Did not believe him until I went to the track. MAN what a differance. Started looking for a medium tail bag that was designed for the Gen 2 XR. Well, I found it at TouraTech (Touring Tail Rack Bag, BMW S1000XR, KTM 1190 Adventure / R & 1290 Super Adventure). Their touring tail rack bag from Germany is specially designed for the Gen 2 XR, easy to install & fits like a dream. Yes, I went through a couple of tail bags before, I found this 13 liter soft tail bag. Nope, it is not waterproof but, comes with a water proof inner bag. I was looking for something I could put on for the quick 1/2 day jaunt without all the other hard luggage. Best, Doc
