I would like to replace my headlights/parking lights with LED's but will this trigger a code?
No need to discuss LED performance here - just wondering about codes.
Thanks!

Thanks for the speedy reply -
The headlight bulbs I am aware of that say they work with Canbus -
How about the parking lights?
Now that I think of it - I suppose I could just pull one of the bulbs and see what happens . . .

All you have to do is go into the cluster Setup Menu and put LAMPS=OFF .. this will not stop the codes from popping up in the ECU, but, it will stop the cluster display from having !LAMPS on the LCD..

Also, if you really want LED and it is currently programmed for incandescent then the dealer can change the programming with ISTA to White LED installed and this will turn off the codes to the ECU.

If you are in the USA you can send it to me and I can program it out if there is no dealer near you to visit.
