300 today. I am quoting the numbers from just my state. Not the whole of aus. But yes its a lot lower than the US.403 sounds mild compared to the US, with 70,000+ per day, but your population is lower. How are people reacting there? Everyone wearing masks? What's the general mood?
So...we're "out of the woods"...right?US:
Lowest daily cases 7 day average, in june 10, was 21317.
Lowest daily deaths 7 day average, in July 05, was 516.
Second wave daily cases 7 day average peak, in jul 19, was 68680.
That will lead to 1663 daily deaths 7 day average.
Peak daily deaths 7 day average, in apr 10, was 2255.
So far second wave peak has been actually 26% smaller than first wave.
