S1000RR 2023 Update

I had a S1000RR order for 2023 model with 2022 year production but I have recevied a notification from the Motorrad dealer that all second half production for the next year models are canceled due to model update and changes. I was informed that I will be able to receive the motorcycle earliest 2023 Feb-March time frame. Irony is I have already ordered all carbon fibers from Ilmberger that worths 4000 euro. Now I am wondering what to do with the carbon parts since BMW is not announcing what will be changed for 2023 models yet. Meanwhile I am also wondering why they have the 50th years anniversary M1000RR announced which doesn't have major changes from the previous M model.

Most probably they will announce the changes either this July or in November at EICMA but canceling all orders for the second half of the year doesn't make any sense.
Anyone wanna buy carbon parts ?

^ Couldn't you just get a base model? They are around / dealers sell them.

I rather get a 23 base model and keep my 21 M package stock for street riding.

I'm not gunna lie, I'm pretty keen to see the cosmetic changes, even if they are considered minor. I don't want an excuse to trade mine in already though! Thanks for the ETA @bennymx !

Realtime pics or Videos?.....or it hasn't happened...lol.or you haven't seen the bike in person as claimed...Show us at least one real life pic...even if blurred ....Or just allow us to wait for the real deal to climax our excitement 😊..Cheers 🍻

I provide facts and speak truth. I have nothing to gain by lying. I also maintain a degree of professionalism when someone shares sensitive information with me. Once its released to the public. Planned to complete the paperwork on a new 2022 1000RR Sport tomorrow, paid the deposit a couple of weeks ago. My local dealer didn't have what I wanted, and said they'd get it from BMW within 3 days. Turns out BMW UK didn't have any, and BMW aren't building them either. Now I'm wondering when the M1000R will be available and what it will cost?
