I have searched high and low in the manual and on web etc and I can not find any reference to running the S1kRR on fuel containing ethanol.
My previous bike, CBR 600, had a note in the manual to say that Honda did not recommend running anything greater than E10 in the bike and my Toyota says something similar.
Here in South Oz E10/E15 fuels run at around 100 (RON) octane and are a few cents cheaper non Ethanol based fuels. I know some fuel systems can suffer due to Ethanol degrading seals/hoses/filters etc. I also know higher ethanol fuels result in a greater fuel consumption.
I have put half a tank of E10 in my bike as it was the only fuel over 92 octane available.
What are thoughts (or even facts) on running E10/E15 in the BM?
Thanks.
JA.
