That is actually pretty quiet compared to what my 2015 sounded like before I changed the timing chain in it. Enjoy the bike and ride it well.
Rattle/ticking from engine.
Hello everyone, i recently bought myself a beautiful 2010, but i have no noticed this rattle/ticking noise coming from mostly the left side of the bike, it has a manual chain tensioner installing, i hope someone can tell me if this sound is something to be worried about or not.
I have heard these bikes make a lot of engine noise but its hard not to be a little worried when it ticks and rattles 🙂

I dont think the video captures the sound very well, its a quite load rattle/ticking when its idle. When I'm riding, it switches over to a more metallic scratching/rattle noise mostly between 3-6k RPMS.That is actually pretty quiet compared to what my 2015 sounded like before I changed the timing chain in it. Not sure about your bike but it's safe to say that these motors are noisy
I heard it a bit, sounds like heat shield came loose or something is touching the frame\exhaust. Depends on mileage, maybe time for valve clearance check? maybe?
