So I've been searching everywhere for a race seat for the HP4 that fits the stock seat fixings, with no luck. There one custom place in the US but their seats aren't race orientated and there's one in Italy (pictured) but can't raise a response from them.

Can anyone recommend a race seat (not a cover) like the pictured one? I found a couple of European sites but language is a problem.

I wish I knew. The attached option looks good. Sub'd for updates.

I came close to ordering but their site is poor and I couldn't get a response from anyone by email. Do you know of a supplier that stocks them?

Given that the HP race seat is imminent I will probably wait but it would be good to have some options.

Thanks for sharing.

Those seats are made to order.Email them and they will be very helpful.I sent a used seat and transformed it in a Raceseat in a week(you can also buy a complete new). You can also tell them hoe you want it and they will fix it..

wafatboy, I've got a race seat that fits up to oem mounts. It brand new and was designed for use in prostock. You would need to stick a race foam pad on it.

Send me your email or mob and I'll send you pics if you're interested.

Installed HP Race Seat today. Got lucky and hole were predrilled already. But removed the sensor under the middle screw mounts and put some tape around the positive terminal. so my tools wouldn't hit the wire and short something out. Installing the middle bracket as a bit of a pain in the ass, cause the screws have to by tightened from underneath. I recommend getting them good and hand tight, so when you mount the seat there is room for adjustment. I took my time installed in about 20 mins.

Can any of the owners of that HP seat describe the advantages ?
I'm nobody that needs a more comfortable seat on a liter bike, I want more grip and easier hanging off.

The surface of that seat looks very grippy.

Can you guys confirm if you have an easier time holding on to the bike?
I guess it also is now easier to access the battery bay because of the new way to open it!?

I was in the same situation as you. I bought a race seat from raceseats.it which cost around $350 and does everything I need - its grippy but good shape for getting off the bike.

The material of the BMW race seat looks very much like the Ducati Performance seat I have on my 1199 which is great. The seat looks quite narrow which should allow you to move around on the bike more easily.

If I hadn't bought a seat already I would definitely have bought this.

does any body tall have experience with this seat vs oem , I get hip cramps riding my bike (i am 6'2), by changing my original seat to this race seat will give me an additional 20 mm, will this additional height of the seat be significant to fill the difference

i know you said not cover because most covers arent grippy. my seat comes from lui moto it is a cover that i had custom made with tech grip. pm me i can get you a deal if you like it.

I wish the Wunderlich seat had that style of mount. It's a pain in the ass to unscrew the bolts underneath the seat. And screwing them back in is even worse!
