Hiya everybody Nose Arm Facial expression Cartoon Vertebrate

Just picked up a 2013 insurance write off as a track bike project. Where I live in western Australia there is no option to look at the bike prior to auction other than listing photographs so there is always a gamble on extent of damage... Thankfully it looks like a good a good one, started up no problems and sounds mint!

Will post full list of damage and shopping list once fully assessed

Welcome.. you are lucky it had keys. I do alot of AU key replacement, but alot of those bikes come from CoPart USA and shipped to AU. No ECU and no keys. I offer all that and RCK2 with the HP power maps for the 12-14 if have interest in that.

Looks like the bike went down on right hand side, immediate fix ups..
Cracked RHS fairings... Buying track fairings
Right hand clip-on bent about 10mm... New set on order
Broken tail section fairings... Include in track fairings Brake fluid leak from loose banjo on front master cylinder... Was this the cause or result of crash??? Easy fix anyway
RHS Footpeg gone and rearset bent in... New rearset on order
Rear subframe bent about 30mm out of straight... Race subframe on order.
Scratches to carbon fibre exhaust guard... A light sanding and patched up with clear epoxy, looks good as new...ish
Indicator and mirror broken off... Not required anyway

That's all of the bad bits, sounds worse than it actually is. Cost so far ~$2400 AUD, most of which was the CRC race fairing kit (postage to Australia is crazy).

Good bits...

No damage to main frame, forks or wheels
Straight
No marks or scrapes on engine covers
Electrics all working
Running very smooth.
LHS in good condition so will have some OEM parts for sale

A little bit of progress today. CRC fairings fitted but discovered the front fairing support is broken so another part on order.
Brakes bled and flushed, rearsets fitted, rear subframe fitted.
Anyone know if there is a right/wrong way to fit a screen on CRC race fairings? Got me stumped

Oh and I got some race rubber...

The windscreen typically goes under the front fairing nose. I have not seen a screen quite like that, but, it should fit under.

See how the OEM screen fits and cut on it to fit. I use the OEM on my Carbonin setup and it works great. I had to cut the front leading area of the windscreen quite a bit to fit.

It's been a while and I've had 2 outings since last post. First run out and found a small oil leak from the clutch cover, one of the bolts was sheared off. Fixed that up, gave it a lick of paint and been out again. love this thing!
