Welcome - when did the dealer say you'd get the bike? Some have heard March
I live in Nj, my dealer told me 1 of 2 can happen. If they receive 111/112 orders i will be able to build the bike as per the website shows. Or they get a couple of bikes in with certain features and or fully loaded. Not sure what fully loaded would be. But if they get bikes in without orders they are saying January. Unless they are pulling my chain. But i will take a fully Loaded Red one

Why not the carbon fiber wheels?
O man to be totally honest i do a lot of street riding and sometimes i hit some potholes. I dont want to risk it and crack a rim. Also don't want to fork over 4k for a new set. I would rather use that money elsewhere like gear. If it was a track bike only then yes 💯 get the carbon wheels

Im hoping before the end of February since I was one of the first to place a deposit on the 23. Was set on just picking up a 22 but ultimately decided against it. Ran my credit and the credit app is good until the end of February. Expected a little off msrp on the 22 but no price reduction at the dealer in CT. Hopefully we'll have our bikes soon.
yea man for sure, good luck with all. i think regardless it will be a perfect time to obtain the bike just right before the season starts.

I certainly hope you'll be ok riding back in those temps. I remember when I had to take delivery of my 2016 C650 Sport. The high for that day was 28 F. Even with the heated grips and heated seat on full, I was still freezing my butt off. And this is with the scooter having more frontal wind protection than any sport bike. I tried to tough it out riding at highway speeds but had to pull off and take side roads at slower speeds. I also had to make periodic stops to get feeling back into my hands. That was a long 50 mile ride back home.

Wishing you good luck all goes well.
Yea it was definitely cold for sure, the bike felt amazing I put a total of 6 miles on it delivery day. and today I put around 35. still cold around here and tomorrow temp will go up to 56... I will be out there tomorrow on the road to 600 mile first service. Surprisingly I am not in a hurry to get there. I am having a grand ole time going at a snails pace it seems but the S1 handling is superb. I am overly impressed with the features and the overall experience. I have the Dunlop Sportsmart TT tires and I really like them too, even in cold temps they warm up well. today they felt even better after a good 20 mins of figure 8s. I have a lot of hills in my area so I been hill bombing it. don't really want to jump on the highway
