Hi ,
I lost the key last year but its costing me more expecive do make a new one ,
so I Replaced new engine and new key it doesnt turn on ?

what can be the problem now !
New programation maybe ?

He didnt replace enough of the matching married parts buy his post, but english is not his first language either it appears.

Alot of people make the mistake of buying an engine and ECU from a 2017 lets say, and they put it in a 2015/16.. guess what.. no work.

So please list exactly your bike model and year.

List what parts you brought of the seller with the engine and what year it came from.

Well there are alot of questions in you coming on this forum making your first post about security hardware of the BMW, as in LOST KEYS.

you dont post your model and year of bike.

you dont provide real pictures of your hardware items for identification.

The key is married to the ECU, the cluster and the ignition switch. You need them all together or you need some major ECU reprogramming. Plus the fuel filler cap and passenger seat lock.

You can buy a key from the dealer, already programmed

Yes, you can get a key from the dealer, but it's not that simple if the bike is stolen. Did you notice that the post is over a year old? He needed the cluster too.
