K67 Battery Replacement

Weird that their website does not list the 2020 models to be compatible. I was assuming the form factor would be not fitting or something like that.
The terminals are flipped when comparing the K46 to the K67. So the battery does not interchange as the battery wires are really not long enough to put a K46 battery in there and have good connection points. You can use a K46 and use some short extensions, but that is asking for future issues if they come loose.

@BMW_388 There must be a vendor making a k67 specific one ? or did they all give up as the M model is so prevalent ?

Just an idea : Who makes the M battery ? I assume BMW sells it for 500$ when you can directly get it for about 250$ ?
I researched this already.

It takes a bit of searching the relationship, but it is with VoltABox. voltabox.ag - Voltabox at a Glance: Key Facts

you can buy one here

earthx battery. cell balancing built in.

Cell balancing is a product of a BMS device. Battery Management System is how a LiFePO4 survives many cycles of charge and discharge.

Most of these batteries are based on 3.2V cells in the 80AH range. So we stack 4 @ 3.2VDC in series making a 12.8VDC @ 80Ah up to 200Ah. The BMS handles the charge cycle and the alternator is special in the S1000RR that is factory equipped with the M Battery package.
