Hi guys

Im doing roll racing most of the time. Which one is better?
Higher gearing ( sprockets ) on lower gear or lower gearing on higher gear?

Don't forget that lower gearing (larger rear sprocket) will put all the gears closer together, you will have to shift sooner and more often.

I would say more data is needed to even make an educated guess at this.

Engine mods?

ECU mods?

Can you shift 1>2 with no issues on your bike?

What is your target top speed? If you are only roll racing in a quarter mile, half mile, full mile you need to have a plan for top speed. In a mile on my 2020 with 15/45 I can do all it goes at 176 in a half mile distance, but the time it takes to get from 40 roll to 176 is better than if I have the 17/45 with top speed of 198 in the same mile. So the bad thing about changing the gearing around and you are out roll racing in XX distance, there is always that guy that wants to show his top speed pass the mile marker as far as he can go .. well until the next corner comes up.. then it time to slam on the brakes. I am sure we are talking only go fast in a straight line.
