I think I've finally found the only flaw in the s1000r. About 2 seconds after you turn on the hi beam, the low beam shuts off. Whose idea was that? The amount of light both beams create at the same time is almost more than you need. But you cant have them both on, only 1. If someone has figured out how to get both of them to stay on at the same time, I'm ready to get learned.
I found a old thread on the topic but it didn't get much traction. Someone said that on a few other bikes you have to swap out the wiring harness for a European spec item to fix that problem.
