Guy in the video said the standard wheels are steel. Is that true?
Of course it is not true. BMW has not put a steel wheel on a S1000RR ever.

The cast aluminum is base K67 ( Red or Silver )
The forged wheels option K67 ( Red or Silver )
Carbon Wheels K67 ///M optioned Blue/White/Red ( Motorrad/MotorSports some use to call it )

I notice the base K67 comes with 190 rubber on the rear while the optioned ones are 200. Seems a bit strange to have such difference... purely cost oriented?

Okay, thanks. That was my understanding too.

Did you find the answer you are looking for?
You said steel in the video, I listened to it twice because I was really surprised to hear that. You might want to correct that.

All cast wheel option S1KRR ( K46 or K67 ) have a 190 tire.
