Hey Guys just a quick share, i received a phone call from my dealer today and they told me i can build the new 2023 S1000RR
Heres what i got

I just confirmed my order and received my production number

The allocation is status 112, so I was able to configure the way I wanted.

O man thats super sweet, i thought about the black too. i kept it red because i have red equipment and my R1 was all red. i cant wait either mid march sounds good to me. i thought long and hard about the sport exhaust. i just figured i would ride with the stock for a bout 1k miles and switch to a full AKRa. C

I called the dealer after reading your post. So thanks for that. They hadn't even had time to review the allocation or call me.

I plan to mate the BMW Akrapovič sport exhaust on the bike to the Ti Akrapovič optional headers I have on order. Which if they keep pushing back may not arrive until the bike arrives

I think all BWM NA bikes have the passenger kit. I asked to remove it and they couldn't.

Let me know if you get the part numbers before I do for the cowl and or GoPro mount.

Never tracked a motorcycle so not sure how long it will sit waiting for a ship. If similar to a car the handover to distribution (180) to dealer should be ~ 1 month + wait time.

Yes it seems like the bike will be done way beforehand and it will probably be sitting at a port waiting to get shipped out. My friend factory ordered an M3 G80 and its currently sitting at a port in MuNich waiting haha i wonder if the Motorcycle and car factories are close in distance..

M3/M4 are built in Leipzig. M2 was built in Leipzing now Mexico.

S1000RR are built in Berlin. So ~ 190km apart.

Cars typically ship from Bremerhaven.

Seeing posts saying motorcycles ship from Humburg.

FYI everyone, as per my sale guy, if you want a solo cowl, add it to the build! He said it will definitely be more than they are charging in the build and will be pretty hard to get one afterwards. Just a heads up.

That would be something new as you could never get the seat cowl instead of the passenger seat in the USA. You had to purchase it on your own.

You will still be getting the passenger seat, as it's free, but the seat cowl is an option. So if you order the seat cowl, you'll receive both, but it's like $115 extra and he said it'll probably be like $300 if ordered afterwards, if you can even find it available. That was a no brainer for me.

The NA 2023 S1K will come w/the passenger kit which includes a pillion cover w/the seat pad.

If I'm understanding correctly, every bike gets the first picture and I assume I ordered the 2nd picture. I would believe the carbon cowl would be pricey. I have not asked about the carbon one so I don't know how much, but I can ask my guy if you're interested.
