Hi folks,

Just trying to diagnose an issue. I ran my bike for the first time this season and upon start the machine, I noticed fuel dripping out of a weeping hole on the RIGHT SIDE of the machine.

Obviously, I have used the search function to see if anyone in the past has had the same issue before, but to no avail.

What could be the problem here?

That hole is drilled in the case area to relief any water that would get in there from riding in the rain, or like washing the bike and getting water in that area.

If you see fuel coming from that hole, then the fuel rail is leaking, or the connection to the fuel pump under the tank. Either of those has occurred over time with the K46

Thanks for your response. The bike was stored all winter and I’ve owned the machine since new and have never witnessed anything like this. I will verify the fuel rail issue when time permits.
That is actually not good letting a bike sit in storage. The orings will shrink up and cause cracking and leaks. The fuel line connection can crack from age and heat. Once you remove the fuel tank, you will get a better idea of the issue.
