Fair point; I purchased on from BMW-388. What I don't like about the aftermarket ones is the filler cap is not attached and I drop them lol.

I have done that with my filler cap on my Halo. Once it hits the concrete there is usually a nice nick and shiny mark reminding you that you dropped it one time. Or two times..

Looking for a gas cap to replace the one that broke at the hinge on my skr, from what I understand, they're very compatible with even different bmw models from 2010-2022.

Have you looked on eBay? I've seen a few but you have to wade through all the aftermarket versions.

i use the TWM cap and i always put the lid on top of my brake reservoir and it has proven to be stable enough while i refuel🥴 less than ideal but i was not a fan of the oem silver cap

Agreed, it's very awkward and doesn't really open enough to comfortably fit the nozzle boot.

Whats not good is when you flat forget to put the cap on and its laying on the tank top somewhere and you ride off. Then it is not only on the ground, its rolling across the ground.

I just use my left hand to hold the TWM cap and use my right to put gas in while sitting on the bike. Pretty simple
