Hello all, check engine light and warning msg came on my 2020 S1000RR. Dealer said the O2 sensors are shot and need to be replaced under warranty. 2 week lead time on these.

I have a trackday coming up. Safe to ride? Seems to run fine, power feels fine.

My understanding is the bike runs on open loop anyways under high RPM's/load - safe to thrash the bike around the track without risk of losing the engine?

Yes sir - something along the lines of "have it checked by an engine specialist"

MY 2020 S1000RR = Starts fine runs fine but after roughly 5 minets at idle (foot of snow outside) says ENGINE FAULT and have it checked by engine specialist .. Had something similar before said ...engine run files faulty... but bike ran like crap. Dealer fixed.This is different . BTW my bike hasnt hit 600 miles yet bought bike in winter . ave 300 miles on bike .

I dont blame the manufacturers for these problems. Tree huggers want zero emissions and there is no such thing.

Why do you say that? Doesn't the bike run in open loop anyways over 50% load?
