I would like to know from you if you have ever had any problem with a crack in the spark plugs or a problem similar to this one or if you know someone who has had it, and if the bike will really be normal after replacing these items. Remembering the bike didn't accuse anything in the BMW scanner, no error or anything like that. Thank you for your attention and sorry for the extensive topic.

As I introduced myself in the new members thread, I recently purchased a 2025 model S1000rr in Brazil. In the rest of the world, I believe it is still the 2024 model. Here, the facelift will only arrive in the second half of the year.

I am having problems with my bike. After only 260 km, the bike started to have a misfire at idle and the engine would shut down. So I took the bike to the BMW dealership where it was purchased. After the diagnosis, it was found that the spark plugs had cracked in the insulating ceramic, which was causing the irregular idle and the engine to shut down. I will take a photo here.

The dealership passed the data to the factory, which took about 3 days and authorized the replacement of the 4 spark plugs and ignition coils. I tried to request the replacement of the bike for another one, but the factory did not accept it and assured me that, by replacing these components, the bike would be in accordance with the factory specifications.

- I know the K67 with earlier model years had problems with coil packs going out wreaking havoc and being hard to identify. I would assume this is along these lines and new coils along with plugs would fix your issue.
