Been thinking of trying this as I don't want to spend $$ on the GS911. I am looking at the ELM327 adapters.
the cheap ELM327 wont let you reset the service codeos as they cant send a string of info long enough for our ECU's to read.
I am waiting on a fleabay 10pin to 16pin adapter for one of these:

A mate with a '17 S1000RR has one and I've seen it in action, reset his service codes with MotoScan Android App on his phone, talks via bluetooth. Theres a free "lite" version to test before buying, and free software updates as they come up..
I'm getting the LX version as I dont need to hook it to a FORD
I've spoken (emails) with the MotoScan developer in Germany, he is working on the codes for actuating the ABS thingy when bleeding brakes - he says it will be deployed early 2018 when he has ironed out the bugs.

Hello, I was wondering about the Service Functions available in the Ultimate version of your App - what are these service functions, and how would they apply to 2016 S1000RR ?
thanks
