Thanks Elk. That's a good one. Might have to just makes the table myself. Maybe add some reminders on how to use some functions while I'm still getting used to it - launch control etc

Last information I got is that ABS Pro will be available for 2015 RRs in the first half of 2016. Price could be much higher than for the HP4 since the lean angle sensor was from Bosch before and now it's from Conti - vague info only if they actually have to install this additional Bosch sensor or it could be only software update like for the HP4. Or you just by a 2016 RR :wink2:

Since it's only active in rain and sport mode and wouldn't work with race ECU it's a no for my HP4 :crying:

This has been the hurdle for me...I really like Race (80%) and occasionally like to stir up some trouble in slick (the other 25%) :nerd:

Are you sure about that? When my tech installed the race ECU, the computer stopped the install, instructed the tech to disconnect the ABS ecu, and continued programming after it was disconnected. I assume this was so it would not overwrite ABS Pro programming. I don't have the bike back yet to verify. :frown2:

"105% of the time, it works every time" :D

For Road riding I honestly thing SPORT works quite well. If I'm riding along the lines of 'The Pace' the extra throttle response isn't a huge concern. Having lean angle ABS and using SPORT on the road would be great for my style of riding.

Well, honestly you can't be 100% sure about any of BMW info since it's not written down specifically and clearly at all.

Not sure why he needs to pull the abs module not being overwritten. Problem is you need in race calibration 2 software an additional abs pro mode then to assign to each mode. Kindly let us know if that's the case. Practical information first hand are always better than what any bmw tech is telling us :wink2:

On the phone with my tech today...he mentioned that he had gotten a bulletin about ABS Pro today or yesterday and couldn't remember the specifics but stated he though he might have to install a sensor in addition to the software...

If anyone has access to the BMW bulletins, we could perhaps get a little more info...
Right - additional BOSCH (HP4 like) sensor probably. Price could be at least twice as high as for the HP4 from what I have heard!

I've seen the bulletin and it says ABS Pro is "in progress for the 2015". For the K46/12 (12 - 14) it says:

Retrofitting ABS Pro for S1000RR

Enabling code for ABS Pro 77 23 8 546 512 $484.43

Enabling code for ABS Pro (VINs that require yaw sensor exchange) 77 23 8 565 349 $181.00

Yaw rate sensor Bosch mm5.102 61 35 8 546 524 $608.96
+ Adapter plate 61 35 8 535 000 $10.25
+ C-clip nut (order 2x) 07 14 7 693 887 $1.93
+ Torx socket, m6 x 20 (order 2x) 07 12 9 907 402 $1.80
+Cheese head screw, m6 x 16 (order 2) 07 12 9 907 403 $1.80
+ ABS Pro yaw sensor adapter cable 61 12 8 559 288 $59.44

- There is a note about ABS Pro not being compatible with the HP Race kit.

- Since the updated Bosch sensor comes on later 15s they could only need the enable code, similar to the HP4.

KFM wont sale software but they do have the sensor for $371.31.

Based on d40s post, here's the sensor that needs to be replaced on some S1000RRs/HP4s. My manufacture date is 3/3/15 and it looks like the correct model #. If your manufacture date is before March '15 you probably need to get a new sensor (according to RealOem.com).

Awesome website: The speed sensor is in all HP4s and some RR's:
Part 61358546524 was found on the following vehicles:
K42 (HP4)   (09/2011 — 07/2014)
K46 (S 1000 RR)   (10/2013 — 04/2015)

I'm a bit confused about this. Can this feature be enabled on any year/model RR or does it have to be an HP4? I have a 2012,and am wondering if iI an make this work withthe code? Judging by the above post it looks like my bike has the correct sensor. However, I'm uncertain if I have the correct ecu. I've read the whole thread, and unless I missed something, iIone see mention of the above anywhere.

No judging, I'm a squid when it comes to following the latest and greats o all this stuff.
