2023 M1000R Competition on the way!
Where are my fellow (soon to be) MR owners?! Anyone else starving for updates?? My dealership (Tampa Fl) just keeps telling me March/April. I put my deposit down in Nov. 22, I'm getting IMPATIENT 😆 Would love to hear about everyone else's experience so far.
I actually got to see, sit on, and start and give the revs to this beautiful beast in Daytona Beach at the 24 hr. race in Jan. Also met and had a great conversation with Nate Kern! Awesome dude.
As soon as I saw this thing I absolutely knew that I made the right decision, it's every bit as awesome as it looks in pics and video.

Yeah they do, the entire bike is amazing! The billet rear sets are beefy as hell. Only thing that really has me scratching my head is why (especially on the Competition model) they didn't make the winglets carbon fiber 🤔 I'm sure they'll be available 3rd party, or maybe even OEM somewhere down the line, seems like a no brainer though. Same. Told it may be here in Arizona early April. vin tracks to having left Munich and around Denmark with a 3/22 estimated at port in NYC. I’m told it may sometimes sit at port for 10-14 days so fingers crossed. Dealer also said sometimes they just show up even though tracking shows en route. Completely agree about the winglets and that will be an immediate upgrade to Carbon when available. I also ordered the full Akrapovic titanium header and GP slip-on, Brenn tune, etc. dealer will blue the header and Dyno break in so she’s ready to roll!! Also ordered fender delete, front signal delete, radiator guard, rizoma brake reservoir and CRG Arrows (not crazy about those clunky mirrors). I can’t wait!!! Do you know if it already has rear spool bobbins so I can get a Pit-Bull rear stand?

Awesome! I'm doing most of the same mods, I'm looking at doing Akra ti header as well with SC Project GP Can. And BrenTune is a must! BMW also has M billet lever guards that match the billet levers perfectly. It unfortunately does not come with the rear spools.
I just got an update from my dealer. My bike is now in production! They're telling me I should get my VIN in a couple of weeks, with delivery being around the 1st week of May. Longer than I was originally told, but at least now I have solid info 👍 Keep me updated if you don't mind, and I'll do the same. Can't wait to hear when the first one drops!

I’ll be posting pics as soon as I get her. Dealer is gonna let me come and see the unboxing and if I’m able may try to get some video of the tune, bluing the headers etc. got some radiators and I can’t wait for Ilmberger Carbon Winglets coming in April.Yep, same here.
