I wonder how many folks will actually take it to the track vs folks who will keep it as a garage queen? Doesn't seem like motorcycles, as a rule, make good long term investments (there are exceptions, of course). Don't really know.

Hopefully a sign of things to come from KTM. Probably my only regret in buying motorcycles over the years was never buying a RC8 1190.
Me too. I had spousal buy-in to trade my TL for the old RC8R. Waited too long and the buy-in somehow vanished. I'm lucky enough to have a KTM dealer fewer than 5 miles from my house too. It would be nice if they made another supersport bike.
