Can someone confirm, Does that document have info on how to replace Water pump\Oil pump? Cause that seems to be the issue with these motorcycles. Just had mine replaced and my friend had one replaced last year too.

My warranty just ran out, that's why I'm asking.

Yep, it sure does. There is an entire section devoted to the oil/water pump removal but, it certainly does not look easy.

Yeah, it is difficult, therefore 'step by step' instructions would be nice.

I did ask the tech who replaced it in my motorcycle, he said a wrench and special tool is needed, because the chain is connected to the water\oil pump, so I was wondering how you get it off. Of course he won't tell me anything else.

That's great but... I have a 2021 XR. Been searching for a service manual for my year... was there much change in the '22??? Would it apply?

2020+ XRs are all the same. They call it Gen 2s. Not sure why it's called '22 only, maybe there's a reason.

Looks like another sale for the downloadable manual.

Although, this is my first heavily electronic bike. All my others could be wrenched with a decent set of tools, a cold brew, and a greasy Haynes manual.

For Gen1 XRs\RRs, I hear that Haynes is more in details than the actual BMW service manual. 🤣
