For what it's worth, I urged the top BMW executive at a their private track event to offer a "track only" program to be done by the Dealers that will provide the Euro model's performance while maintain the factory warranty.
I humbly and respectfully told them that I will not buy the new bike until one is available.
Along with an all black color option. >:)
I see maybe a 2022 in your future.

I really do not know what else to say except that graphs prove the point.

Upper picture is STOCK ECU and how bad the dips are in the throttle body response in each gear.

2nd gear noted in graph,
3rd gear noted in graph,

Lower pictures of the XWORKS ECU code- Things it fixes
Throttle body response consistent with grip position request of power
Fluttering in the air box reduced
Part throttle first gear sputter lag smooth out
Idle is better
Vibrations at 8k reduced, but not completely gone
Wheelies in all gears now
Power is crazy in gears 2 and 3 now

PM me !

If you cherry pick 2 data points. Acceleration from 100KM to 225KM, and measure how long it takes in seconds. Its clear as day the altered map with traction off is neck breaking.

Factory Map measures @ 7.5 seconds for both with the huge dip and without

Altered map TC ON @ 8.0 Seconds

Altered map TC OFF @ 2.5 Seconds Wow!!! And that's still chopping the throttle.

Just eye balling the graph you can see the Speed axis line is a different angle.

@BMW_388 Did Mani make you miss your race? Still waiting on your race report. :smile2:

Report from August 16/17/18

So I missed practice Friday. I wanted to be available to MotoMillion and a couple of other customer ECU's I was programming.

The only item that came in I got to install was the Alpha 6mm rotors provided by SoFloSBK.

Clip-ons provided by MotoMillion had to wait to another day I felt like also rebuilding the front forks with some new oil at the same time.

Loaded and ready for Saturday morning short practice ( 5 laps ) and then race at 11am. This is my first race of the year, so that means zero points, and CMRA grids you by points, and then entry number data. OK, there was 24 enteries and I was number 24 on the grid. I had only tried launch control once back with the stock ECU and I was less than impressed with the way it felt the same as the K46 which I never liked. Today it was the XWORKS ECU launch control, and man was it right on. I went from that 24th start position to 12th. Wish I could have maintained that position, but I fell back to 15th. Just could not make consistent laps and the suspension was just not feeling right in the bumps off ' Big Bend ' corner, and the GoPro flipped forward pointing at the steering nut for most of the race.

Went home and programmed another customer ECU, readied the bike for Sunday. Got to the track ready to get entered maybe ahead of a few people that had zero points like me. Nope, 24 people again, and I was to be number 24 on the grid. Short practice laps, flipped the rear tire at the Pirelli tire shop onsite support ( Thanks South Central Race Center ) . Race was number 4 of the morning so that is about 11am again. GoPro this time is ready, mounted, and hopefully not going to fall over this time. Grid up at 24th position, Launch control on, 9000 on the lights on, dump the clutch. Amazing launch control. Shot up to about 10th, fell back to about 12th, lost one position to a pass, but made up the position later and finished 12th in the expert A ( 1000cc ) SuperBike class. Super good lap times for my 2nd race of 2019. Standing start to lap 1, 1:23... all other laps 1:22 even on the passes I made. ECU was flawless and made power with proper DTC as you would expect a Road Racing Superbike to do.

Video to be posted of the start in the least as soon as I figure out how to edit GoPro videos, and I have time. There is alot going on in the BTS ( behind the scenes ) this last 2 weeks. XWORKS is being recognized and endorsed by BMWNA representative’s 'unofficially' of course. I am just the guy down in Texas that does BMW work, and oh by the way he races on road courses that the BMW S1000RR is designed to be on... I am fine with that.

So much more to come in the next 2 weeks guys. Excited to be a part of MotoMillion ( www.MotoMillion.com ) and having good people behind me and my work like SoFloSBK ( https://soflosbk.com/ ) , BMWHP (https://tinyurl.com/y4j7jxlj ) , and 650IB (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOkNbsKJTp51bvBun8sy8VA ) . Thank you all.

My super good consistent laps times posted on Race Monitor. Reminds me of back in 2013 on my 2009 Suzuki GSXR.

Picture of me on Sunday a week before the CMRA race at RideSmart Practice ( RideSmart - Texas Track Day Motorcycle School ) .

Floyd, Are you considering a hand held unit like BT for your flash? Is that a possibility?
As soon as he can verify this company has cracked the K-67 code, I'm sure he will be offering these.

Its nice that DimSport might have finally cracked the codes for OBDII connection to the BMW 17-20. Last I checked with them it still was not possible on the handheld.

I see the application list is updated now.

A really badass product solution would be to create a smartphone app via a cheap/generic USB-OBD2 cable to control the flash and other functions. This would both lower the unit cost for the device and produce a far better interface for the user. You would obviously still key the software to the VIN for licensing purposes.

I haven't checked, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that someone hasn't done this for car programming, maybe one that could be inexpensively licensed.

The XWORKS ECU has been provided to several ROAD RACING teams. Feedback has been extremely positive and the riders look forward to finally being in competition on the USA K67 2020 BMW S1000RR.

My ECU work has be termed as Euro based K67 2019+ S1000RR pull out binary, reload binary USA market ECU. Last I checked Germany is in Europe. The USA market BMW ( Bavarian Motor Works ) is Made in Germany. Google confirms Located in Europe, Germany is encompassed by nine other European countries. So yes, my ECU foundation of work is Europe based.

Educating my competitors with my postings on this forum and several facebook groups helping others has become a medium for them to think they are capable of matching my talents by being keyboard warriors.

If anyone needs a reference of my work, there are 2 dyno shops in the USA market that are happy to verify my tuning / flash skills within the BMW ECU. I have sold over 100 ECU sets and 100 various RCK / HP power kit'ed coding packages.

I feel like educated consumers will use google to find answers to the type of business they plan to give money to.

I do not want a DOA. If I test and calibrate every ECU, then, if the customer gets it back and happens to say, “ hey my bike wont start” I can tell them 100% it is not the ECU. I have tested the ECU and it is 100% working when I shipped it. “ I then start working with the customer to find a solution. Track record so far 100% found the issues with the customer and everyone happy in the last 5 years.

Then the calibration is the most important part to me also. The dealers receive these bikes from Germany. They mostly just put the few pieces on, put in fuel, start the engine, and out the door it goes. Too many people are posting that the engine is sputtering, the throttle does not feel good… these are adaptations calibrations. I do these calibrations when I reprogram theses ECU. I feel it is the best it can be or better even if it was at the dealer. So that makes it my personal goal to know how to customer support someone upon getting my ECU work back.

I test everything. Some of my stuff goes to other countries. I am putting together a 2012-14 bike just to start the engine and calibrate the TB and twist grip. I have to make sure right now that every person I do work for has a GS911 because the calibrations for the 12-14 are so picky on this.

Since BMW representatives are now putting my name out there as a good resource for RCK3 / HP power kit, and even the 2020 recalibration for the 2nd and 3rd gear issues, I cannot risk a DOA that I don’t know if it was me or something the customer did.

I require the ECU, switch, and one key to solve this on 2020.

The 10-19 K46 it is the ECU, Switch, Cluster, one key. There is just a few things I do that do not require the cluster, but most do require it.

Thank you to the 25 BMW S1000RR 2020 owners/racers that trust in my work and allowed me to service you.

In Bren's "//Euro-Flash Now Available" thread, he took some shots at @BMW_388 so it doesn't not surprise me he is responding. What he says above is true. Multiple threads in this forum about issues with Bren flashes. Zero problem threads with BMW_388's ECU work and he's been working on forum members bikes for quite a while. :smile2: There have even been threads about Bren's undetectable flash being overwritten by BMW updates. They charged for the reflash. Zero complaint threads for BMW_388. Multiple for Bren. To their credit, they tried to resolve them but they should not have been issues in the first place. That's why I chose XWORKS for my 2020 and could not be happier. The fact that RCK M and 10-12 more HP is in my future is just a bonus.

BMW_388 still road races on his product. That is all you really need to know. That's the function that scratches my itch. No interest in freeway roll on races, 150+ mph wheelies on the freeway or drag racing although drag racing is good practice for race starts at the track. I have a friend with a Bren flash that should be installed by now with a full exhaust. Wanted to do back to back dyno runs. He's not interested till winter. Wants to ride while the weather is good. We may both be at T-Hill on 9/2. We should be able to do roll ons at 6K in 2nd down the main straight but they will prove inconclusive as we have different gearing. The 25 lb. weight difference could be solved by swapping bikes. Still wouldn't be the same as back to back dyno runs. :frown2:
