I went to my dealer and they did it for free, and I didn't even buy the bike from them. Was like a 5 min job, but I still gave a $20 tip since I just didn't feel right. Call your dealer and check. Most likely will be free.

At $400, I'd think that you'd have to pay someone $40 to "borrow" theirs since you are taking 1/10th of their available VINs. Well, unless they got the unlimited version.
