I'm guessing in another 4 months, no video can be believed. Deep fakes will be so real we won't be able to discern fact from fiction.

Nah, deep fake videos can be easily spotted, just gotta know what to look for. Also, just like there are bad guys/governments that write viruses, others who write anti-viruses. There are people who write tools to spot deep fake videos. With bits/bytes everything can be back traced including when an asset gets modified. But for the average Joe, yes it will be hard to tell fake from real.

That is true to some extent. You are probably to young to remember the movie "Running Man" with Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was framed by the government with a fake video that showed him killing innocent civilians that he refused to fire on and kill. When the government is corrupt and gas lighting the public with propaganda (fake videos), who is going to keep them honest? Or believe those trying to debunk the propaganda? Questions that need asking.

I guess nobody in Times Square have seen a Harley Davidson! ... jokes aside I understand them as in this time of our life it seems like we are all living in war zones, sad times.
