I was rooting for Folger sooooo bad, the list of reasons is almost endless:

1- Would loved for a rookie to beat Marquez at his best track
2- To see Herve Poncharal lose his **** and celebrate like a maniac
3- To see the look on Zarco's face when he sees his teammate winning a MotoGP race before him (If ever)
4- Hate that Zarco gets all the attention when Folger is very capable and hasn't been given a chance to show his potential.
5- To see the look on Lorenzo's face when he realizes a rookie won a race on the privateer version of the machine he raced last season.
6- Should I keep going?

Folger really surprised me. He was highly touted but until today had not delivered. Did they give Zarco Rossi's old/ new frame? He wasn't in the hunt and should have been. It seems like Dorna is pulling the strings and controlling the results the same way NBA refs do.

Just my opinion
it shouldn't be a surprise that Folger did well, he is on Rossi's bike from last year. Which was a very good bike. Until his crash he was the only rider to have points in every race. I think he's been learning the bike and building his confidence from the start of this year. and don't forget he was one of the only riders to use nothing but the medium tires in practice except for the mandatory 5 lap hard tire test.
Mark only won because it's his track, same reason he won Cota I don't think the Honda is sorted yet , if it was Cal would be doing better, and maybe Jack. Vin needs to go away for the summer and have his head checked and get back in the game I think his ego is crushed. Just his statement that he didn't realize the championship was gonna be this hard to lead says it all. I think Dovi is the one to watch. This is a very exciting year and no one is standing out. I wish KTM and Aprilia would do much better.

Hands down, the best race of the season - Austrian GP

Agreed. Though my fav didn't win, it was one of the best, most exciting racing to date. Too bad Rossi could be in that mix.

As much as I hate Marc for being Lorenzo's hot tub buddy 2_3 years ago, I can't help but admire his riding skills. Smoothest crasher in MotoGP. I think it was 2 races ago he crashed 5 times leading up to the race and still won. He was all in and not even thinking about points in the las corner. If he could have gotten a little more traction on the painted shoulder, he would have won with that move. You could see his rear wheel spinning up. Amazing!

C'mon, benny...Dovi is a factor. Live with it. Marquez is great, but do you want him to win every race? Where's the fun in that?

I loved it when he won 10 in a row. Stuff Ducati. It's much more entertaining when races are close like that and it makes the championship closer at the end. It is better. But I still love to see him dominate. Much like Stoner did. Also. Stuff Rossi.
