Why do they have to be "cute" sneakers? We all have something we like. Spend your money how you like. You're not hurting me by spending your money.

I have bottles of wine I don't drink. Some may think that's waste of money.

No, no you don't. I've been lusting after a pair of bred 13's but I refuse to pay reseller prices. The 13's are my absolute favorite Jordans. The shoe that started it all was the playoff 13's and it is my holy grail. It is the one shoe that I will keep deadstock and refuse to wear unless it's a very very very special occasion.

I buy them, wear them and take good care of them. Except for a pair of Jordans that I absolutely destoryed this last summer. There are only a few (2-3) select pairs that I refuse to wear. There are a few pairs that I simply haven't worn just because I didn't get a chance to, but I most certainly will.

No. That would be buying more guns.

I should have explained the simile.

Women go shopping to hunt down the perfect shoes for an outfit, an accessory or for the uniquely good buy. They return with kill stories of the item they bagged, the one that got away because the size/color was wrong, etc.

They sound precisely like men telling their hunting and fishing stories.

Ahh! Perfect analogy. I was thinking: Women can't have too many pairs of shoes. Men, there is no such thing as too many guns.
