Will HP4 wheels fit on my RR?

Does anyone know if a complete set of HP4 wheels (including HP4 rotors, sensor rings, sprocket, and sprocket carrier) fit onto my 2012 RR using the 2012 axles and spacers without any problems? Do I need to use the HP4 axles and spacers? Are all the sensor ring spacing the same? Would love to upgrade but not sure everything will line up correctly.

Yes, they will fit but you need to use the rear axle spacers that came with the HP wheels. The axle itself is the same. There are no spacers on the front wheel, and yes the sensor gaps are the same tolerance.

Thanks for the quick reply skapan. The 2012 RR is my track only bike. Do you think I will feel a big difference over the RR cast wheels? Is it worth the extra ~2K$?

The difference is going to be significant. It is an expensive upgrade but well worth it. It is going to be my next upgrade.

The 'feel' is significantly better with the forged lighter wheels. I put in many a laps on GSXR 06/07 wheels and then the 08/09 wheels came about alot lighter. Made huge difference in all feeling areas. Then when I brought my S1000RR it came with forged wheels. While the whole bike was so different from my 600, 750, and 1000 experience on the GSXR, I could still tell the forged lighter wheels were so nice an addition to have. I have a set of cast S1000RR wheels now and made a few miles comparison last year. I could easily tell the weight and rotation feel difference.

When you buy the forged wheels used... just think of it as front complete Rotor To Rotor.... rear complete spacer to spacer. this includes the drive hub, and sprocket. The rear rotor is the only thing that will interchange from the base S1000RR cast wheel, but, just try to buy the rear spacer to spacer and you are covered.

@sharkboi
The forged wheels from the factory ( BMWAG ) has HP on them for the 15-19. If you have forged wheels with HP4 printed on them one of two things happen. You brought the bike used and someone installed them and maybe decided to tell you there were dealer installed. Or, a dealer actually had them sitting on the shelf and decided to swap out the cast wheels for the HP4 wheels to make a better sale on the bike.
