Couple 2020 RR questions

What are the ramifications of running with DDC unplugged? (For ohlins installation) Is it just a light on dash? Where can I get a DDC delete? Any chance its the same as older year HP4?

Also, are any parts the interchangeable from last year to the 2020? Such as wheels? Thanks in advance for the info!!

Yeah a error on the dash. @BMW_388 can probably remove it for you though.

The wheels don't fit. Different offset.

I almost have the DDC delete for the 2020 done. I should have that in 10 more days.

I will tell you what my opinion is, because BMWAG will not disclose the exact working details.

DDC and DTC interact in some way. The bikes with coded ECU on DDC have some input to the DTC parameters and in my opinion cause improper slipcore results within the DTC tables.

I have asked Steve Weir, I have asked BMWAG HP Support, and everyone just thinks I am a vendor trying to break down the code interaction of the ECU. I feel this is something that BMW should disclose on the exact interaction. If it is NONE, just say none.. but since I get mostly no response answers, I feel there is something there.

Nevertheless, the ESA is not happy when you remove the DDC forks and rear shock. So on the 15-19 K46 I can convert these now.

Soon the 2020...

The wheels do not interchange very easy at all. I have worked on the front a little, and will get it some day. Need to build a VSS bracket to fit the 2020 forks. Rear I have not tried at all yet.

there is a differences thread I created with pics >
