2010 - 2014 ride height

Can you guys tell me what you had or have your 2010 - 2014 S1000RR’s setup for track/racing use when it comes to ride height.

Do you have the front of the forks flush with the top steering? 1,2,3, etc lines pulled through? (Lowering the front)

What shock length are you running the rear shock at? Is the eccentric flipped to raise the rear or lower the rear?

I know what the 2015 onwards should be, but I believe the 2010 - 2014 is different...

To the best of my recollection, 2 lines showing at the front, eccentric in the taller position and stock length rear shock. That was 2012. the 2013-14 are different again in the rear, can't help you there. That was with 190/55 rear.

For What it is Worth

On my 2014RR I have 5 lines above the top triple clamp showing. In other words More weight on the front tire. The rear shock is in the factory position and the eccentric is Not flipped.
I also use a 200 rear tire and it does make a difference for me on corner entry and overall cornering Feel.

Works for Me !!!

So the rear of the bike is in the lower position right? (Eccentric hole is at the top?)

How does your front tyre ware look with so much weight on the front?

Yes,the Eccentric hole is at the TOP.
All of the suspension changes were made by Velocity Calibrations,a local suspension Guru.
I feel that there is no difference in tire wear. I will gladly trade tire wear for cornering grip.As in No front push,no fork chatter in the corner and MOST of ALL a secure feeling that the you are in control when cornering.
The photo of the front tire is from 2 track days last weekend at the National Corvette Museum road course.
The tire is a Dunlop Q4 with cold pressure of 32 psi.

If bike + rider = 270 kg and weight distribution is 50/50, then you have 135 kg on front tyre.
If you rise rear end 5 mm, what is the weight on front tyre...?

Edit: Is it 135,484 kg...?
