Hello S1000RR forums,
I'm a mechanical engineer that mostly does data acquisition and controls testing (important for later). I've bought my 2015 S1000RR new off the showroom floor with DDC and HP wheel options. This winter (of 2019) I am in the process of converting it to track/race only spec.
My current list of things accomplished thus far are the following:
Full Akrapovic titanium exhaust
Sprinter air filter
Removal of all oem road going lighting, horn, etc.
PCV and dyno tune nearby in Waukesha
AiM Datalogger (I use at work a lot)
DDC and ABS delete
Dash delete for MXS replacement (hopefully)
I'm currently looking to get some questions answered on CAN communication with the OEM dash, RCK3 capabilities or ECU flash for the DDC ABS delete so as to not affect DTC. If I can get pointed to someone who is knowledgeable in these areas I'd love to share more details and work through it!
