‘15 s1000rr track rider

I’ve been on a Triumph Daytona 675r the last two years and just moved up to the s1000rr. Promptly stripped it down and put on track plastics. Usually ride Barber or NCM.

Unfortunately, it has the electronic suspension. I’ve just done rear sets for now. Looking for a used exhaust and a new front wheel after BMW stripped a rotor bolt when powered coating wheels.

Interested in power commander, new rotors and possibly suspension this winter.

Love the 675R, kinda hoped the 765 would change the styling up a bit though, little improvements all over though.

Yeah I have a 765 RS. Definitely some more grunt. More than the numbers would make you think. Still wished it had more power on the new Daytona.

Welcome. You can Heli Coil that stripped rotor bolt hole, and you won't be the first person to do it. Easier and cheaper than a new wheel.

Don't worry you can go fast on electric suspension. I was running 12 seconds off the lap record as a hobbyist track day person on electric stuff.

Thanks for the info. I haven’t had an issue with the electronic suspension so far. Maybe I’m just not fast enough. 😆

Good idea on the helicoil!
