All,

My name is Jon and I recently picked up an 2020 S1000RR from my local dealership here in Sandy, Utah (Harrison Eurosports), this is my third sports motorcycle but my first BMW ever and loving it so far. I look forward to endless discussions on this community and to share anything this gorgeous motorcycle model has to offer.

Right then. Better book it in for carbon rim replacement, oil cooler replacement, doesn't select neutral, black paint job, cold start problem.

cold start problem? If you're talking about the idle unevenness, it's on purpose, to spread oil around the engine upon cold starts

Actually, I have not seen cracked wheels yet though it looks painful, will keep an eye peeled on that same for the oil cooler pipes. Yes, the neutral is an itching issue but I got used to it because of my last bike (Pani 899) it does not bother me that much yet but if it counts as a mechanical defect I think the warranty should cover it. What's up with the paint? I have not had a cold start problem yet and we are in the lower 40s here on the western side of the country.

All good but still can't get over the fact that the "M" package was not available in a different color paint ugh.

Yea I hear ya... the silver would have been nice in the M package along with all the CF panels... the contrast would be stunning!
