2012 S1000RR Services

My beast has 27.000 km and i am using Motul 7100 10w50 every 3.000 km and change filter every 3 oil changes. At 25.000 km i adjusted the valves and changed the oil of the front forks. Riding mostly on street. Any recommendations?

I'm sure you have changed the air filter.

Otherwise I suggest flushing brake fluid, and lubricating the clutch cable.

Air filter is racing so i only clean it. Will ask my mechanic about the clutch fluids and to lubricate the wire. Thanks

I don’t have 30k KM on my S1000rr but I do on my KTM1190. I did a lot of lane filtering “lane splitting” and I was hard on the brakes, compressing the front forks under braking load. After 30k the forks were compressing and rebounding to easy.

When the KTM dealer pulled the front forks apart the was un even wear on the pistons. In other words new fork oil wouldn’t have helped the damping.

Just a thought, normal road riding I wouldn’t worry about it.
