2011 track bmw s1000rr gs-911 question

So I recently purchased a 2011 bmw s1000rr! It is a track only bike. The "lamp" failure light is covering there the coolant temp should be. If I purchase on of the gs-911 tools, would I be able to turn off/disable the lamp failure function? Thank you for the help!

I think we have covered this. The 2012 and up have that feature to turn off lamp warning but the 2010 and 2011 do not. Not sure if a GS911 can do it.

Yes, GS911 can do that on the 2010-11 models. Especially annoying because it takes the place of the coolant temp as you said.

There is a list of all the functions and what the GS911 can and can't do on the Hexcode website, they are constantly updating and improving the software. An excellent investment.

Mine has saved me 3X what it cost already. Had a few little issues with the used 2015 I bought. Shifting and rear brake were the big ones. Just based on what a dealer would have charged me to troubleshoot, I would have spent over $900. Such a great investment.
