Talking Waiting on my second BMW ...

Got my first SBK in 2012; it was a brand new CBR1000RR ABS. Fell in love with it instantly

Now, 7 years on, I have a deposit down on my second BMW. My first BMW is a 2018 MY 330i which I absolutely love!

Reading about some of the issues with the US spec, makes me hope we get the EU spec bike in India But still, I think I will go for either BT's or our in house guru's ECU option to fully unleash the bike

I was curious. Does putting on a full system exhaust void the warranty on the engine?

That will depend on consumer protection laws in your country.

Where do you ride a bike like this in India? Iíve spent quite some time there and never felt a 1000cc sport bike to be a good choice...

Honestly curious

Lots of really good roads around major cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, etc.

And at the track

Really curious, does BMW's policy say that the warranty would be void just from a full system?

Interesting - thanks!

Worked in Mumbai for a while and never felt Iíd rather be on a bike going to the office...

Also takes a certain skill to survive in that traffic

Like someone else said, your local consumer protection laws will most likely be your best answer for this. In the manual, it says not to modify the bike.

Luckily for you I think you'll get the EU spec one in India.
